SIPRI report: Europe armor itself over tensions with Russia

Tensions in relations and subsequent conflict with Russia over the past 5 years have caused a sharp increase in arms transfers to European countries. In 2022, Ukraine became the 3rd largest importer of arms in the world, according to a study published on Monday by the Stockholm Institute for Peace investigation (SIPRI).
