In 2023 2 anniversarys related to the Polish women's masonry pass. In September it will be 30 years, erstwhile the first 2 Polish women were initiated in the women's masonry, in the French “Rose of Winds” lodge, which is part of the large Women's Lodge of France, and in December 25 years after the birth of the women's “Trójkęta” in Warsaw (such a substitute for the lodge, the smallest free-sea structure that can form 3 masons, of which at least 1 is simply a master). Therefore, in the following text, I present a fewer silhouettes of Polish masons and a small closer to the issue of women's participation in the free-sea movement.
In the general public, freedom is associated exclusively with the male domain. This is not entirely true, due to the fact that already in their early 18th century, the alleged adoption lodges existed and operated (in Poland since 1768). However, these lodges were not entirely independent. They functioned at men's lodges. They utilized double posts and were always presided over by the Venerable (chairman) men's lodge, while the female serving the highest in the lodge was referred to as the "Honor Companion of the Master". These lodges focused on broadly understood philanthropic activities and the sphere of culture, literature and music. Until the liquidation of freemasonry on Polish lands, there are about 20 adoption lances, through which respective twelve women – mainly from higher spheres (magnetaria and aristocracy).
