The Ministry of Defence of Russia has stated that it did not plan to attack Poland, and is ready to talk about it with the Polish Ministry of Defence. Radosław Sikorski referred to this position in strong words.

During the Wednesday press conference, Radosław Sikorski was asked to respond to the words of the Russian Ministry of Defence. They called on Poland to “talk about drones”. “That’s interesting, due to the fact that the chargé d’affaires of the Russian embassy immediately said that these were not Russian drones,” he said.

The head of the MFA then added that "if this is simply a form of confession, then we have progress". – But we would like that they do not send these drones to Poland – Sikorski emphasized.

The Russians are denying it.

During the night attacks on Ukraine, Russian drones violated Polish airspace. any of them were shot down by Polish allies. They were Polish F-16 fighters, Dutch F-35 fighters and Italian AWACS reconnaissance aircraft.

The Russian Ministry announced on Wednesday that "there were no plans to attack targets in Poland". It was added that unmanned aircraft intended to cross the border with Poland have a maximum scope of 700 km.
