The State Election Commission refused to registry David Jackievicz and Wiesław Lewicki as presidential candidates. Among the incorrectly filed PKW signatures, the signatures filed alongside the data of the deceased were found. Until now, PKW has registered 12 candidates.

By 4 April at 16 p.m., candidates for the office of president could be submitted to the State Election Commission. 17 applications were sent to PKW. In 2 cases, the Commission refused to registry candidates. This includes: David Jackievich (Former associate of the Law and Justice, 2015-16 Minister of State Treasury in the government of Beata Szydło) and Wiesław Lewicki (the activist of German Polonia).

According to the resolutions adopted on Wednesday of the PCW, both candidatesand did not submit 100 000 signatures of support within the deadline required. As we read, among any 148,000 signatures collected under the candidacy of Jackievicz, 66,000 of them were not decently folded. erstwhile Lewicki was reported, it contained irregularities approx. 46,000 shows from 141,000 submitted to PKW.

Furthermore, the Commission notes that under both candidatures there were signatures filed alongside the data of the deceased. In the case of Jackievicz, PKW found 2,881 specified signatures, and Lewicki - 5,805.
