"Hanless bowing to traitors". Slovakia faced an existential decision

news.5v.pl 5 months ago

As a result, 3 years ago Russian gas imports into the EU accounted for as much as 45% of full imports. The Russians have always utilized energy as a weapon. For a long time they prepared their criminal invasion of Ukraine.

It was accompanied by a cut-off of Russian gas supplies, leading to an increase in its price. This was painfully felt throughout Europe — not only by the energy crisis, but besides by forcing Russian crimes to be sponsored.

It is widely known that exports of energy natural materials account for about half of Russia's budget. Out of this 40 percent (!) is presently going on war spending. Almost 3 years after the Kremlin began a "three-day peculiar operation" erstwhile Ukrainians inactive heroically defend their country, as well as all Europe, we have a chance to halt participating in Russian war crimes.

Following the introduction of sanctions on Russian coal and oil (in the second case, unfortunately with exceptions), the gas situation has improved substantially. The European measures promoting the construction of LNG terminals, the interconnection of gas pipelines, joint purchases and mandatory retention of gas are a major factor. The EU is now able to replace all Russian gas volumes.

Reverse situation

Ukraine has long announced that it will not extend the transit agreement with Gazprom. Following these warnings, we have reached a phase in Slovakia where we besides can easy halt sponsoring Russian criminals. However, the present representatives of Slovakia behave shamefully and treacherously.

The Prime Minister, as well as any misleading members of the National Council, visits mass murderers and war criminals at their office and asks how they can finance more Russian war crimes.

Further string of material under video

This situation is absurd not only by undermining the common European approach, but besides from a legal point of view. Slovak representatives meet people on the sanctioning lists (with Vladimir Putin, Viacheslav Volodin, Sergei Lavrow) — though they themselves advocated putting them there.

If they represented Slovak interests, they would not search an chance to sponsor terrorism, they would sue Gazprom for failing to execute contracts, as did the Czech CEZ and Austrian OMV. At the same time, it would proceed to diversify suppliers — the Slovak Gas manufacture has been working on this for a long time and according to its officials it is able to replace all Russian gas.

The story of inexpensive gas

The Russian agent in charge of the Slovak government is trying to convince us that everything is the responsibility of the Ukrainians, and it was Gazprom who failed to comply with the terms of the agreement. The Russians destruct the lives of the Ukrainians all day, and he drives himself to the Devil's office in the Kremlin. And he's besides afraid to go to Kiev, although he says there's no war there.

Another story that Fico has begun to spread is the alleged "fundamental impact on natural gas prices which are presently at an highly advanced level".

At the same time, this alleged ‘non-standard advanced level’ is 7 times lower than that of Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022., and since the beginning of the year, the price of gas on the stock exchange has not yet reached the level of the last day of 2024. Analyst forecasts besides talk about unchangeable prices in the first 4th of 2025.

There is nothing to compose about the story of the supposedly "lowly" Russian gas. The price is of course marketable and the same as from any another source, the difference is based on transit charges. Following the 2009 gas crisis, it was the EU that again made a crucial contribution to the construction of the North-South Gas Interconnector in Slovakia. present we have connections with all neighbouring country and we can choose our suppliers.

We are faced with a civilizational decision.

Although transit fees are likely to increase, it is crucial not to sponsor Russian terrorists in their activities, which are besides directed against us. Let us not forget that, despite the shameful bowing of traitors in Moscow, our homeland is inactive on the list of countries and Russia's goals.

Ten European countries — Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Ireland — called on the EU to introduce a complete ban on Russian gas imports, including LNG. These countries clearly realize that jointly stopping Russian terrorism backing will make a crucial contribution to our European security.

In Slovakia present we are at a civilizational decision-making point — either supporting people who defend lives (including ours) or supporting murderers and criminals. Depending on which option we choose, we will either proceed European cooperation or become increasingly isolated from decision-making processes.
