I have no uncertainty that children should learn English. It is needed in France, China and even Scotland. All the manuals, technological articles, and others are in English.
On the another hand, I have any doubts about the request for a second abroad language. erstwhile I was in Italy, I had to do something in Italian, or I wouldn't have done anything else. likewise in France with French or Germany with German. Now I can communicate in English in any European country. In China, it's a small worse, but with phones, all translation is easy to do.
That's why I would delete the second (and sometimes third) abroad language from school.
There is only 1 physics lesson on the above agenda of the LO lesson. This is ABERRATION. There are 2 computer lessons. How can 1 realize without physics the operation of quantum computers, or quantum cryptography, which will be utilized erstwhile children grow up. There are 2 past lessons. How can you realize past without knowing physics? Maxwell's story, Einstein's, Bohr's, Fermie's can only be understood if you know the laws of physics.
Therefore, it would be a simple decision to control a second language lesson to physics lessons.
