Scandal around Shein. The French government announces regulatory actions

France has launched proceedings to suspend the operations of online clothing retailer Shein until the company complies with French law, the Ministry of Finance announced. The decision casts a shadow over the beginning of the first Shein store in Paris' Bazar de l'Hôtel de Ville (BHV) department store.
