Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán assured Vladimir Putin that he was ready to support him, including helping to end the war with Ukraine by holding a summit of the leaders of the US and Russia in Budapest, Bloomberg reports, citing a transcript of a conversation held in October 2025.
