"The ultimate Court informs that the public sitting in order to adopt a resolution on the determination of the validity of the election of the president of the Republic of Poland held on 18 May 2025 and 1 June 2025 (NSW 9779/25) was designated on 1 July 2025 at 1 p.m., area A" - reads the release.
Let us remind that in the second circular of the presidential election Karol Nawrocki won the PiS candidate, winning 50.89 percent of the vote. Candidate of the Civic Coalition Rafał Trzaskowski gained 49.11 percent. The difference was little than 370 1000 votes.
Under applicable law, it is the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the ultimate Court that decides on the validity of presidential elections. The gathering must take place within 30 days of the announcement of the election results. This deadline is 2 July, so the decision will be made at the last possible moment.

The ultimate Court besides set deadlines for 2 electoral protests. They will take place on 27 June at 9:00 and 11:00, besides in the home of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs.
Since the announcement of the results of the second circular of elections, there have been media reports of possible irregularities erstwhile counting votes in any committees. On Monday on Radio ZET, the first president of the ultimate Court, Małgorzata Manowska, reported that more than 50,000 electoral protests had already been received by the SN.
As we wrote in naTemat.pl, the ultimate Court stated on Tuesday that it considered 3 electoral protests to be valid for the time being. As reported, the identified irregularities did not affect the result of the elections.
