MFA spokesperson Maciej Wewiór reported that 11 aircraft had arrived in Poland from the beginning of armed action in Iran by Wednesday, including 2263 passengers from the mediate East. He besides estimated that the United arabian Emirates could leave up to 40,000 tourists a day.
Wewiór stressed at the Thursday press briefing in Warsaw that at this minute the ministry has no information that any Polish citizen suffered from armed actions in the mediate East, although, as he pointed out, the situation is different in each country. He besides announced that at the airport in the capital city of Oman – Maskat – there is simply a boarding of passengers who request medical support. These include people with disabilities," he added. They will return to the country by aircraft of the Polish Air Force.
He stressed that for this minute the territory of Israel wants to leave “a few, several” Polish citizens. He added that there are no more Poles in Lebanon and Jordan who express their desire to leave these countries.
