The Russian Vodka Museum opened a private owner in 2001 in Moscow, Russia. The task was created from the request to implement a way for people from tourist ships travelling on cruises between Lagoga and Lake Onega. This is simply a way to spend time and long your legs for tourists waiting for another ship.
The museum presents well five-century traditions of Russian vodka. The guides tell visitors the way and past of vodka production and what distinguishes it from another alcoholic products in the world.
In its collection the museum contains Russian products, but besides originating in Kazakhstan, China, Ukraine or Moldova. All exhibits are about 600 pieces among which is found Stolicskaya, Ruskia Standard, Kalashnikov, Horticja, Nemirov, Putinka, K-19 or vodka with a viper inside. During the tour you can besides see conventional propaganda posters like, e.g. "We talk vodka - NO!". After sightseeing tourists are offered tasting vodka along with conventional Russian snack.
