Russia: Jail for surrendering and refusing to participate in war

The State Duma immediately adopted in the second and 3rd reading amendments to the Criminal Code, which supply for a prison conviction for voluntary surrender and refusal to participate in hostilities or armed activities; the concepts “mobilization” and “martial law” appeared in the law.
