Fuels get more expensive, US refiners number profits

The largest independent refiners in the U.S. are likely to announce better results in the first 4th than they did a year ago, Reuters reports. They were helped by the war in the mediate East, which disrupted oil and fuel supplies, causing refinery prices and margins to go up sharply - to levels not seen in years.
