The Kurganmashzavod plant, which is simply a maker of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and BMD-4M amphibious assault fighting vehicles, works fundamentally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Employees work in 12-hour shifts, and the plants are able to hand over 2 to 3 production batches of fresh vehicles to the Russian Armed Forces per month.
