From 10 September to 9 December 2025 there is simply a regulation on air traffic in the east part of Poland, along the borders with Belarus and Ukraine - said the Polish Air Navigation Agency (PAŻP). The fresh rules were introduced on the basis of a regulation by the Minister of Infrastructure, with the aim of ensuring security.
As stated in the PPA Communication on request Operations Command of Types of Armed Forces from 10 September from 22:00 to 9 December until 23:59 p.m., there is simply a regulation on air traffic in the east part of Poland.

In this region "from sunset to sunrise" is valid total flight ban, but military aircraft. During regular hours, the ban does not include manned aircraft with a flight plan, equipped with a working transponder and maintaining communication with ATS authorities, as well as flights with the position HEAD, STATE, SAR, HOSP, MEDEVAC, FFR or performed by the password GARDA, ALPHA SCRAMBLE.

The EP area R129 has a 24-hour flight ban civilian unmanned vessels. PAŻP emphasizes that "aircraft inlet, not gathering the exclusion criteria, in the active R region is simply a violation of the Aviation Law".
Exceptions to restrictions, after coordination with the Air Operations Centre Operations Directorate, may include state, rescue or critical infrastructure safety flights.
"The limitation is introduced for reasons of State safety in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 18 January 2019 on flight restrictions for a period of not more than 3 months" - reads the Communication.
Russian drones over Poland
On the night of Tuesday for Wednesday, Polish airspace was repeatedly affected by respective drones. defence procedures have been activated. This was first reported by the Operations Command of Armed Forces (DORSZ) after 4:00 p.m.
