Romania buys armed Bayraktars

The Romanian Ministry of National Defence entered into a contract for the acquisition of 18 armed Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aircraft along with systems and maintenance. It is the second buyer of these Turkish pilotless carriers in the European Union after Poland. The full value of the contract will be $321 million excluding VAT.
