Republican criticized Trump, punished along with his six-month-old grandson

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul learned Wednesday that he was “no longer invited” to the yearly White home picnic, which is traditionally attended by members of legislature and their families. Paul himself has attended the event in the past, both under Republican and Democratic administrations. The politician sees the withdrawal of his invitation as “petty” punishment for criticizing Donald Trump’s actions.
