The Central Commission for the Control of Discipline of the Communist organization of China and the State Supervision Commission published an authoritative study summarizing inspection and investigative activities towards their own staff in the first half of 2026.
During this period, these institutions, guided by Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese specificity for the fresh era and its concept of organization building, consistently implemented the findings of the 5th Plenum of the 20th Central Discipline Control Commission. A key precedence was the educational run to advance a correct approach to work outcomes and to deepen the "Year of Construction of the 3 Standards", which included:
- standardisation,
- legal authority and
- professionalization of offices.
The Beijing authorities (in Beijing) stressed the request to govern through organization systems, law enforcement and continuous improvement of the quality of supervision in order to yet form an "iron army" of officials with an excellent political attitude, advanced competence, blameless working kind and absolute integrity.
According to the published statistical data, over 15 500 reports and information about possible violations by their own officers have been received by the discipline control authorities throughout the country. More than 14 200 specified cases were dealt with, disciplinary discussions and written explanations procedures were held against 4385 people. Eventually, authoritative proceedings were opened against 1685 officials. Disciplinary penalties were imposed on 1535 people, of which 59 are department and office level officials, and 356 are region and territory level staff. In addition, 138 cases were transferred to law enforcement and justice.
The concept of “Four Forms” of supervision, covering a full of 5999 people, was widely utilized in prevention.
- First Form, which was critical and early response, was applied to 4397 people.
- Second Form, including milder penalties, afraid 1219 officials.
- Third Form, involving severe sanctions, has been applied to 222 people.
- On the another hand, Fourth Form, meaning expulsion from the organization due to serious crimes, applied to 161 persons.
The publication of this data sends a clear signal to the full state apparatus that no 1 is above the law, and the authorities designated to combat corruption are subject to the most stringent verification and self-control mechanisms.
