"Europe must build its strategical autonomy and take work for its own security," General Roman Polko told us, commenting on the relocation of US troops from Jasionka. The US Army Europe and Africa Command (USAREUR-AF) announced the planned transfer of soldiers and equipment from the airport close Rzeszów to another locations in Poland. The Americans assure us that the decision was well thought out and does not mean the withdrawal of forces from the region.
