You think religion will go back to mediate school? The Katechets didn't say the last word. MEN made the decision

The grade on religion does not number for average marks at the end of the school year. However, this is contrary to the decision of the Constitutional Court, which ruled a fewer days ago that this provision is unconstitutional. As indicated, the provision was introduced without agreement with the church organization and the spiritual unions. From 1 September 2024, there are provisions to amend the regulation on the assessment, classification and promotion of pupils and listeners in public schools. According to them, the yearly or final classification of religion and ethics is not included in the average grade on the school certificate. The PiS members, however, challenged this provision to the Constitutional Court, which ruled that if the regulation "impacts on the approach to spiritual assessments, e.g. by excluding them from calculating average assessments, which could have consequences in awarding certificates with distinction, awards or recruitment".
