Passenger rights improvement halted. There is no agreement to limit compensation for flights

The associate States of the European Union want to mitigate the rules on air passengers' rights, e.g. by extending the time it takes to repair an aircraft in the event of an accident. However, the European Parliament opposed limiting the protection of travellers. For passengers it is simply a temporary relief – the dispute over the rights of both parties is only getting worse.
