Belarus and Myanmar have agreed to supply tractors and medical equipment, rice and seafood. This was informed by the Minister of Investment and economical Relations of Myanmar Wah Wah Maung after the end of the second gathering of the Trade and economical Cooperation Committee.
“We have discussed six main issues, including agricultural cooperation. The Myanmar organization is curious in purchasing equipment in Belarus, tractors for the agricultural manufacture that are suitable for us. We have besides considered issues of cooperation in the field of wellness care and are curious in purchasing Belarusian medical equipment. We were able to agree on common trade — the supply of clothing from Myanmar to Belarus, rubber products, as well as agricultural products specified as rice, legumes and seafood,” quoted Myanmar’s head of diplomacy, BelTA.
Foreign Minister Maxim Ryjankou, who presided over the Belarusian part of the committee, noted that, despite the long distance between them, both countries have a lot in common. “We are ready to make bilateral cooperation as rapidly and as far as our friends from Myanmar will”, said the politician.
According to him, both parties are curious in strengthening stableness and safety both in their regions and worldwide, and Belarus is ready to support cooperation with Myanmar within the framework of the Ero-Asian economical Union, the Shanghai Cooperation OrganisationAnd BRICS.
