Oil refineries in Orsk, Orenburg region, close the border with Kazakhstan, completely halted operations after Tuesday's Ukrainian attack on this facility - reported the regional authorities on Thursday. It was added that repair work would take up to six months.
"The shrapnel damaged the key infrastructure that cannot be repaired now," wrote Orenburg Oblast politician Evgeny Solncew. ‘The equipment is imported and, due to sanctions, the duration of repairs will be extended to six months. The plant was completely closed”, he said.
