Last Thursday, during the planet economical Forum, Donald Trump's Peace Council was officially established to manage the Gaza Strip. It is said that she would later deal with another conflicts in the world. any 50 countries were invited to participate in the fresh U.S. President's project, but on Temat.pl we watched this carefully: 19 chairs appeared on phase during the Davos event.
The biggest emotion is the financial issue, due to the fact that it is unofficially said that permanent membership of the Peace Council is to cost a billion dollars, or about 3.6 billion zlotys. Polish politicians are divided on this issue: president Karol Nawrocki suggests readiness to talk, PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński supports Poland's joining the group (meaning that the government "must appoint this billion dollars"), while Finance Minister Andrzej Domański explicitly says that a billion dollars for this intent are not in the budget. Money.pl indicates that membership of global organisations besides means that contributions must be paid. The state budget for 2026 provides for more than PLN 205 million for the mark prices.
