Russia introduced a year-round draft, attempting to violently replenish army losses in Ukraine. The Generalition expects 135 1000 fresh soldiers – writes “Rzeczpospolita” in the Friday edition.
According to the newspaper, 1 Russian militarist blogger announced that “a program was launched in Russia, in which anyone who brings a colleague to sign a military contract will get 100,000 rubles (about PLN 4.5 thousand)”.
"Rzeczpospolita" points out that despite the large needs of the Russian army, the enlistment to the army is decreasing and respective 1000 soldiers are killed and injured in Ukraine per month.
"Until now, the enlistment to the military was based on the generosity of Russia's regions, which paid immense sums of money to the enlisted. On average, it was the equivalent of over PLN 90 thousand, and in any parts of the country even PLN 130-170 thousand. But now, without notice, they have begun to reduce wages," writes “Rz”.
The paper stressed that the Kremlin intends to increase the army's numbers by introducing a more stringent discipline, including the designation of being a "self-volunteer" distance by a soldier from the unit for 2 days, alternatively than—as before—out of ten.
The fall draft is due to last until the end of December. Finally, 135,000 recruits are to be called to the army. "Unquestionably, by the end of the year, the invasive army will receive at least a twelve 1000 fresh soldiers, which will full replace the dying recruitment of volunteers," wrote "Rz".
