After the armed attack on Ukraine, Russia was banned from all football competitions organized by the European Football Association. The UEFA president said at the legislature in Belgrade erstwhile the imposed sanctions could be lifted. Aleksander Ceferin gave a circumstantial date. The same position was taken by FIFA president Gianni Infantino. This will surely not delight Vladimir Putin.
