Azerbaijan arrests Iranian spies
W 5 people were arrested and charged with spying on Iran. The Azerbaijani authorities called upon the Iranian ambassador to give him an authoritative protest note.
Since the end of the summer, relations on the Baku-Tehran line have been very tense. There is simply a hazard that the Azerbaijani will want to usage Russian engagement in Ukraine to resume the conflict with Armenia. Iranian and military politicians' comments propose that Tehran is ready to supply far-reaching support to Armenia, including direct Iranian military intervention.
