Do we inactive remember what happened in the public media immediately after the 2015 elections? For months they were in the same hands as the Polish Radio and Polish tv had formed many years earlier. In 2015 the government in Poland was elected by a democratically elected parliamentary majority, and for months it did absolutely no outside-law. He worked – at the stunning roar of aggressive hatred, permanently thrown out of Poland's largest radio and tv antennas. The democratically elected majority began to implement their government plans, but the propaganda apparatus (in this case the word is disproportionately more appropriate than the word "media") was in the hands of the previous, lost in the 2015 power election. The 1 who announced that it would be a "total opposition" and that power in Poland would immediately be regained by "street and abroad".
Already in the first days of the government Beata Szydło the then Polish Radio together with the then Polish tv called a large rally. Appeals for participation were repeated countless times, they were joined by most Polish-speaking (and not proprietaryly Polish) press. Many politicians of the "total opposition" called for him. So on a warm autumn Saturday the crowd filled the Capital Square of Warsaw Insurgents. most likely a large, although the square itself is not large and besides located under the multi-story building of the tv Information Agency, so TVP camera operators did not even gotta leave their premises. The best shots were taken from the windows of their offices. A direct broadcast filled in a large part of the Saturday program. And then it was repeated so frequently that it was hard to count. The most interesting thing about all this is that it is impossible to find out what the circumstantial protest was organized against. For no law was then violated in absolutely no way. Old authorities of Polish Radio and TVP remained in their positions and no 1 intended to change them before constitutional deadlines. So what was that all about? The fact that in the majesty of the law and in respect of absolutely each of the procedures will yet be changed? At the Polish Radio, “Hymn Rzeczpospolita Polskiej” was aired daily, with abrupt long minutes of silence being introduced, and messages were given in the tomb’s speech with their horrors that penetrated those broadcast in September 1939. Kornel Morawiecki then publically asked: “Why is this abuse of Polish holiness? Why is there a fear? Making it look like any kind of armed force is gaining public media centers? After all, no specified thing is happening, and no 1 even thinks about pursuing specified nonexistent intentions!” The political forces that lost the 2015 fall election needed a sense of horror, however. And they generated it in all possible way. erstwhile the police did not respond to their provocations, they even went to smoke the square in front of the Sejm and movie the material from the expected “after – demonstrational battleground”. The roar of megaphones was sometimes heard in the vicinity of the Constitution Square (I know, due to the fact that I lived there) and I heard it almost always being around Castle Square. I always wondered at the time how the police could not respond to this. The fact is, in places where sound must have been the biggest, no 1 lives. Warsaw Insurgent Square and its surroundings are almost exclusively offices and offices. And the escalation of these excesses took place all day at 7:30 p.m., erstwhile the climax of this hysteria was the issue of the old signal "TV Journal", after which the hr of ununderstandable screams began, repeatedly bouncing from the walls of surrounding office buildings. The authors of this hucpa had to have "listens" on their ears at the time, or they would have gone deaf.
All of this ended on 13 December 2023, erstwhile almost simultaneously with the introduction of Donald Tusk's squad to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Council of Ministers, all major public media centres were attacked by a battering attack. This time, there was quite a few police, another door was coming out of the futrines, glass cracks and walls. any buildings were built and others were moved out. Protesters against this were separated by steel fences, columns of police cars, armed with cordons of uniformed service. 1 of the crucial episodes was to shut down the signal of Polish Television, which for the first time in its past simply interrupted broadcasting its program. Before Christmas 2023 Polish public media were pacified. Not only without looking at any rules of law, but with the violation of all laws relating to this constitution of the Republic of Poland. And I continued to walk through the Warsaw Insurgents' Place all day, for which the building of the tv Information Agency is 1 of the vertical dominants. It was a creepy sight. Earlier all evening the light was shining in almost all window of this large building. Since December 2023 – all weeded with dead darkness. There were inactive police vehicles outside the entrance. all day, they had trucks coming to them, and any immense boxes were being taken out. Was there this late acquired equipment of horrendous value? As we know – Polish tv was then put into liquidation by decision of the Minister of Culture of the Government of Tusk. What's going on in this building today? Do fresh tenants have any tools in it, and does this building even have fresh tenants? It is known that in December 2023 information programs were broadcast from another locations. As it is now – it's hard to say. I know 1 thing for sure. The fact that the TAI building inactive looks like a dead 1 and that there is nothing going on around it that happened until December 13, 2023. In addition to the noisy pickets, the everyday life of this place was people known from TVP screens, which I met so frequently in this area for 8 years, that with any I exchanged almost regular "good day" for years. They besides included “people from not my fairy tale”, specified as Prof. Henryk Domański, frequently walking to TAI office to participate in any program.
In 2024, erstwhile the TAI TVP was turned into a cool building emanating with darkness, silence and emptiness, I started to meet respective people standing with a flag, a banner, sometimes a speaker. They give flyers to visitors, in which we read, among others: “We are Poles gathering here in the Insurgency Square spontaneously and we request an independent, just, free of traitors and slanderous propaganda, as a common good. No 1 sent us here or paid us. We are not people from either this or any another “optional” or assigned to any direction of the world, but people who want to live in their own country, whose rights its citizens decide. Not a alien in a country where the media is censored...” The leaflet besides contains a protest against “the burglaries committed by the Donald Tusk government to Polish Television, Radio and PAP as well as the Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Judiciary Council.
