Contrary to erstwhile statements of the ruling coalition, the government adopted on 30 December a draft "Law on the position of the closest individual in a relation and a joint-life agreement" is not a fresh project, according to advocate Nikodem Bernaciak, elder analyst at the Ordo Iuris Institute investigation and Analysis Centre. It states that this task is in fact an old task Registered Partnerships Act of October 2024 with the replaced name of the institution.
