Imprisoned Belarusian opposition figure Maria Kalesnikava has met her father for the first time in almost 2 years. Authorities have been holding her in isolation since February 2023. "I feel a immense sense of relief," wrote Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who posted a photograph of them together. The photograph is the first in over a year to show Kalesnikava.
