The highest state award was awarded Waldemar Lysiak, author and publicist, author of many novels. "In designation of distinguished merits for Polish culture, as outstanding achievements in literary and public activities" - said the President's Office in laudation.
The Knight of the Order of the White Eagle became Andrzej Poczobut, Polish-Belarusian social activist, oppositionist in Belarus imprisoned by the Lukashenko regime. The Chapter honored Pochobuta for her activity in favour of Poles in Belarus, the fight for human rights and "a steadfast attitude in confronting manifestations of reborn totalitarian regimes". The award will be presented as shortly as possible.

The Order of Polonia Restituta was decorated with the Officer's Cross Przemysław Babiarz, journalist, sports commentator, actor and conference player. "For outstanding merits for Polish culture, for achievements in journalistic work, for social activity" - the President's office justified.

Actor Adam Woronovich received the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polish Revival for "outstanding merit for Polish culture, for achievements in artistic and creative work".
