Contacts between European countries and the United States in the context of the situation around Greenland are becoming increasingly tense. Prime Minister Donald Tusk did not intend to stay silent about this. He's on platform X.
"The concessions are always a sign of weakness. Europe cannot afford weakness – neither towards enemies nor towards allies. The concessions do not bring any results, but only humiliation. European assertiveness and assurance became a request for a moment," wrote the head of the Polish government.
Trump announces customs duties on Greenland
Recall: Donald Trump has been openly speaking for weeks about the request to take control of Greenland in the name of "US national security". It doesn't even regulation out military force.

The decision of European states has clearly enraged Donald Trump. The president of the United States announced the imposition of 10% tariffs on countries that supported Greenland and opposed its takeover by the United States. The tariffs will cover Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, large Britain, the Netherlands and Finland and will enter into force on 1 February.
Trump besides announced that as of 1 June, rates would emergence to 25 percent and stay in force until the agreement on Greenland's "acquisition" by the US was reached.
