In an interview with Donald Trump in Davos, the president pointed out that for systemic reasons, joining the council requires a complete constitutional procedure. How did Trump react?
Commenting on the conversation with Donald Trump in Davos, president Nawrocki stressed that the main subject of the gathering were the safety and allied guarantees, as well as the discussions in a broader global context, including the G20. Trump was besides expected to confirm the deficiency of plans to retreat US troops from Poland.

Referring to the invitation to the Council of Peace, the president pointed out that, unlike the single-man regulation countries, decisions on global agreements in Poland cannot be purely political. They must be approved in accordance with the Constitution. This was accepted “with large understanding”, the president stated.
President Nawrocki besides rejected speculation about Poland sending soldiers to Greenland. Greenland should be resolved through dialog between Washington and Copenhagen, without escalating tensions, due to the fact that the conflict around Greenland would be a threat to Europe's security," the president stressed.
