President Andrzej Duda has vetoed the alleged incidental act, according to which the validity of the presidential election in 2025 is to be ruled on by the 15 judges with the longest seniority in the ultimate Court, and not the ultimate Court's Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs, informed the head of the Chancellery of the ultimate Court, Małgorzata Paprocka. This means that the act will return to the Sejm. The president's motion can be rejected by a 3/5 majority vote in the presence of at least half of the statutory number of deputies.
