Poland was invited to a peculiar gathering concerning the formation of “drone wall”. It aims to improve safety and prevent intrusions into the territories of “front-end states”.
EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius will hold a video conference with representatives of 7 EU countries on Thursday to discuss the concept of a "drone wall".
Apart from Poland, the gathering will be attended by Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Bulgaria. A typical of Ukraine will besides take part. Individual States will be represented by ministers or their deputies.
The main nonsubjective of the gathering is to know the needs of the invited countries and to clarify the scope of the assistance from the European Commission. Funds from the fresh SAFE fund may be utilized to build a "dron wall" if countries study specified a request in their national plans by 30 November.
The subject of the EU's consequence to Russia's actions is besides to be addressed at the Copenhagen Summit on 1 October.
