On May 18, the leader of the All-Right Alliance for Romanian Unity (AUR) George Simion, self-described as a Trumpist, will face the Liberal Mayor Nicușor Dan in the second circular of repeated presidential elections. The power camp was defeated and Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu resigned.
