Polish repatriates have been struggling for years with a strategy that in practice very brutally verifies their dreams of returning to their homeland. Although their ancestors were deported into russian Russia a fewer decades ago, they never renounced Polishness. Today, erstwhile they want to return to their ancestors' homeland, they encounter a wall of bureaucratic and organizational obstacles that make repatriation almost impossible.
