Passenger aircraft are becoming an expanding problem in Russia. The Kremlin authorities believe that people are guilty of the full situation, and wherever problems arise, they introduce “their” people, frequently leading to an even worse situation. In the Russian media in early January 2026, it began to be peculiarly loud about re-hunting guilty persons for delays in starting the real production of Tu-214 passenger aircraft. The consequence of these "searches" was the change of management of Kazan Aviation Plants KAZ and Tupolaw.
