Poland will send troops to Greenland? Clear declaration by Tusk

Many European countries have decided to send their military quotas to Greenland. The "quota" may be besides large a word, given that these expeditionary troops are to number from respective to respective soldiers. Does Poland besides plan to send its military troops to the Arctic island? Prime Minister Donald Tusk estimated that, given the earlier actions of the president of the United States, all scenarios must be taken into account, but the government "does not plan" to send Polish soldiers to Greenland.

After a successful attack on Venezuela and the capture in its capital of president Nicolas Maduro and his wife Washington drew his attention to the north. US leader Donald Trump began again to direct threats to Greenland and the formal owner of the Arctic island – Denmark. Trump announced, among others, that the U.S. would "take" Greenland after kindness or "in a more hard way". Previously, the president of the United States did not regulation out the usage of force to accomplish his goals.

This creates an unprecedented situation, as a possible armed confrontation would happen between the States associated with the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO). Trump, however, previously suggested that Washington could be "forced" to choose between NATO's continued existence and Greenland's ownership – which he felt was necessary.

Often addressed to the Danes by Trump, the allegation is that the island is not adequately protected against “Chinese and Russian ships”. According to the president of the United States, if his country does not take Greenland, the Russians or the Chinese will.

In consequence to these allegations, any European capitals have decided to send "exploratory wars" to Greenland. The Danes will do so, but besides Germany, which announced the deployment of respective soldiers for this purpose, as well as Norway and the Netherlands, sending respective troops to the Arctic island.

Tusk: we do not plan to send Polish soldiers to Greenland

Will the soldiers of the Polish Army join European expeditionary forces in Greenland? Journalists asked this, during the Thursday press conference, the head of the Polish government Donald Tusk. The Prime Minister made it clear.

"No, we do not plan to send Polish soldiers to Greenland," said Donald Tusk.

Journalists were besides curious about the PM's opinion on the likelihood of a forceful takeover of Greenland by the US. Tusk did not regulation out specified a course of events.

"I can only say what I have always known that unfortunately no script can be excluded. Given the actions of president Trump's administration so far, any script is possible," said the head of government.
