Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Sunday that he had given – at the request of the US – approval for British bases to be utilized for defensive strikes against warehouses or launchers of Iranian missiles. Shortly after, information besides appeared that a "security threat" had been declared at British bases in Cyprus.
