Should Poland return the missiles to the Ukrainian Patriots? The vastly opposed majority

The Institute for Social and marketplace investigation IBRiS commissioned by Radio ZET asked the respondents: "Should Poland hand over missiles to the Patriot rocket launchers to Ukraine?".

According to the study, 64.4% of Poles are against specified a solution. In this option, "decidingly no" indicated 46.8% and "not so" - 17.6%.

In turn, 21.6% of respondents were in favour of the transfer of Patriots. In this response, 7.2 percent of respondents chose "yes" and 14.4% chose "yes".

The "I don't know/hard to say" option indicated 14 percent of respondents.

It was stressed that the analysis of the results in the context of the political views of those active in the survey It reveals a deep divided in opinions.

"In a group of opposition voters (Laws and Justice, Confederation, Confederation of the Polish Crown, organization Together) 82% of IBRiS surveyed advocates the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine. In turn, only 10% of opposition supporters are behind specified a solution" - noted.

Among the sympathizers of the ruling camp, opinions differ. Transfer of Ukrainian Army Patriots supports 49% of those active in the survey, and 35 percent are against it.

The National IBRiS survey for Radio ZET was carried out on 21 and 22 August by telephone, standardized questionnaire interviews assisted by computer (CATI) on a typical group of 1067 respondents.
