Poland may extend the list of Ukrainian products covered by the embargo

Deputy Minister Jabłoński besides pointed out that pressures on Poland in multilateral forums, whether directing complaints to global courts are not appropriate methods of resolving disputes between our countries. He besides pointed out that these actions would not be effective for Poland, due to the fact that the actions taken by the Polish government in defence of the interests of Polish farmers are in accordance with national, EU and global law. At the same time, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs expressed his concern at the fresh public transmission of the highest representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, imposing unilateral optics on the multidimensional problem of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to neighbouring countries. Deputy Minister Jabłoński expressed his anticipation that both the policy pursued by the Ukrainian authorities and the public communication on their part would reflect the actual nature of Polish-Ukrainian relations, both present and historical, taking into account the unprecedented assistance shown by Poland and Poles by the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian country, as well as the full spectrum of our good cooperation.

The Confederacy issued an account to Ukraine.

During today's press conference, the Co-Chairman of the Confederation, president of the National Movement, Krzysztof Bosak presented a symbolic account of Polish aid to Ukraine. He stayed prepared on the basis of data of the Institute of planet Economy in Kiel, which reserves that Poland belongs to the least transparent countries in terms of Ukraine's assistance, so the data may even be importantly understated.

Basically, it is crucial for us to prove that individual associate States cannot prohibit imports of Ukrainian goods. That's why we file lawsuits against them at the WTO. At the same time, we hope that these countries will remove their restrictions and that we will not gotta explain the relations in courts for long. We request solidarity with them and the protection of farmers' interests - Julia Skirdenko.

The Deputy Prime Minister hoped that the steps taken by Ukraine and the pressures of the European Commission and another associate States would reconstruct trade between Ukraine and neighbouring countries. According to policies, as a consequence of the unilateral ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products by Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, home exporters have already suffered and proceed to endure crucial losses due to downtime, additional costs and inability to comply with abroad economical agreements.
