Should Radosław Sikorski replace Donald Tusk as Prime Minister? – this is the question we asked our Readers in the latest probe. The results are very meaningful.

In the spheres and in the public arena, the subject of the change of the Prime Minister is increasingly discussed. Radosław Sikorski is the main candidate. The atmosphere surrounding this subject was heated by the fact that Donald Tusk appointed Deputy Prime Minister after the reconstruction of the government. What do our Readers think about this? Here are the results of our latest probe.

The results of the probe on Subject: Should Sikorski replace Tusk?

So far, 1385 people have participated in the probe. Almost half, due to the fact that precisely 49 percent, are in favour of Radosław Sikorski becoming the fresh head of government and replacing Donald Tusk in this position. 35 percent of readers atTemat.pl are opposed to this decision. These are the 2 most frequently marked answers. There were 2 options to choose from. Those who find it hard to indicate a clear "yes" or "no" answer are 9 percent.

However, there are those who believe that neither Sikorski nor Tusk should be in charge of the Council of Ministers – they believe that this function should be taken over by individual else. This was the answer given by 7 percent of the participants of our probe.

Let us add that the current head of government has not so far openly signaled his willingness to leave the chair. His public speeches point to continued political ambitions. At the same time, "political succession" is increasingly mentioned inside the Coalition on October 15.

Radosław Sikorski, after a series of global diplomatic successes and increasing designation on the European stage, gains public opinion and organization structures. Even in the German press, they claim that "Sikorski's conservatism fits the right turn in Polish society".

It is worth noting that since his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister, Sikorski has spoken much more frequently in interior matters, not limited to diplomacy. His activity is interpreted by any commentators as preparing the ground for a possible government takeover.

At the same time, the fresh difficulties in maintaining the alleged coalition balance and tensions in relations with the Presidential Palace do not favour Donald Tuskow, who loses the trust of Poles, as shown by the last IBRiS survey.
