- This is simply a false accusation. There is no evidence for it - this is how German Chancellor Olaf Scholz responded to information provided by Roderich Kiesewetter of the CDU that Scholz might fly to Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin. The spokesperson for the German government spoke in the same speech and announced legal action against the conservative politician, whose organization has a chance of winning the February Bundestag elections.
