Polish carriers participating in the protests are considering stepping up protest efforts in the context of Ukrainian truck transport across the border, disregarding the introduced blockades.

On Friday morning, Tomasz Buczek, an activist associated with the Confederation of Freedom and independency and the National Movement, as well as an assistant MP Grzegorz Braun, in a series of entries on the X platform, commented on the issue of transport across the border of Ukrainian trucks by rail, thus bypassing the protest of Polish carriers. In his statements, he pointed out that the protesters responded to the situation with average calmness.

"The costs increase the Ukrainian side and do not make things easier for them, so the problem is not solved permanently and the protest inactive makes sense" said Buczek.

He besides announced that participants of the border protest, including carriers and farmers, have the chance to intensify their protest efforts.

"Transporters and farmers are considering reducing capacity on the roadblocks to 1 vehicle per hour. They can inactive block the entrance passages. So the area for manoeuvre is large and it can inactive complicate the logistics of Ukrainian commercial transport, which displaces Polish companies” said Buczek.

He besides stated that if the government side, including infrastructure minister Alvin Gajadhur and Deputy Minister Rafał Weber, is taking action to weaken the protest, it clearly shows which side it is on and whether it is acting for the national interests of Poland or Ukraine. He stressed that the assessment of the intentions and actions of these politicians remained up to the voters themselves.

Buczek pointed out a separate issue concerning how the Road Transport Inspection monitors the legality of Ukrainian transport in Poland. He pointed out that the Slovaks proved that as many as two-thirds of Ukrainian carriers violated the law. He noted that although Polish ITD began inspections from 4 December, it inactive does not check the method condition of Ukrainian trucks according to the assessment of carriers.

According to him, the PiS organization has already suffered the consequences of its considerable omissions by losing control of the power.

"But this is always the case erstwhile political gameplay and caring for the interests of abroad entities, not the Polish taxpayer, are more crucial in ministers' cabinets than the organisation of the functioning of the state. TVP PR powder is not enough” He commented.

“Tossing a knife in the back of a striker does not surprise us! First the road convoy tour and now the railway” said Buczek.

He pointed out that the prices of freight transport from Poland to Ukraine increased significantly, rising from EUR 1200-2000 to the scope of EUR 4500-6000. His opinion suggests that this increase makes the organisation of "help" from the state more profitable, and possibly individual in Ukraine benefits financially.

"Can anyone in Ukraine make money from this and Poland makes a useful idiot? After today's stakes, if individual goes around borders without standing in traffic there is simply a twelve 1000 zlotys forward. If in Ukraine individual takes a 1000 zlotys of "sleet" from 1 tira, they can go in hundreds of thousands/millions of PLN! With the scale of corruption there, anything is possible.” – he noted.

Buczek besides asked a question about the criteria on which the Polish side and the applicable services choice trucks which are transported by rail.

“I know that convoys of Ukrainian trucks were not always taken from the “head” of the queue” – he noted.

He besides called on the government to supply information on the organisation of rail services and the way the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure checks cabotage services.

The editor called me. @RadioZET_NEWS asking how do we respond to the U.A.'s truck transport by rail to avoid the protest? Take it easy. The costs increase the Ukrainian side and do not facilitate their situation, or the problem solved permanently is not and the protest inactive makes sense. 1/n pic.twitter.com/Pp4k4HpXd

Let us remind that Ukraine avoids the border blockade introduced by Polish carriers by transporting trucks by rail. Reuters informed about this on Thursday citing information from a Ukrainian authoritative from a state railway undertaking. Walerij Tkaczov, deputy manager of the railway department, said: “Now we have a train that stopped at the crossing in Hrubieszów. We already have 23 full loaded containers with trucks.” Tkaczow added that Ukrainian and Polish parties are presently adapting method issues, and if tests are successful, mass transports will begin. The additional costs are estimated to be around 1,600 euros per truck.

The fresh material that circulates on the net presents trucks mounted on wagons, crossing the Polish border with Ukraine, bypassing congestion and delays in crossing from the European Union to Ukraine, which is not an EU member.

According to Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak, the railway line and terminal serving the loading of these trains are controlled by the government company PiS. president of the Carrier Strike, Rafał Mekler, commented on the situation, claiming that according to Ukrainian media information, they were sold by “our” government.
