On February 28, this year, in Zarzeście, the first oath of the soldiers of the 20th Przemysl Territorial Defence Brigade was held.
More than 70 volunteers from the districts of the Permanent territory of work of the Przemysl Brigade have spoken the words of the military oath. recently sworn soldiers have just completed basic training, have become acquainted with elements of military craft, including shooting, tactics, rules of conduct in the field of combat, first aid, communication or topography.
Speaking to the soldiers gathered in the square, Commander of 20th Przemysl Territorial Defence Brigade Colonel Daniel BŁOTKO congratulated recently sworn soldiers on their decision to join the ranks of Territorial Defence. In his speech he pointed out, among another things: "...In accordance with the motto of our formation ALWAYS READY, YOU MUST ALWAYS BE NOT ONLY representatives of the Armed Forces of Poland, but besides warrant the safety of your own "little homelands".

Newly sworn soldiers will now start a three-year training cycle in 1 of the 20 PBOT divisions located in Przemyśl, Jarosław and Sanoku. The training will take place in rotational form on weekends, at least 2 days a period and 2 weeks integrated training, erstwhile a year. Soldiers can besides apply for professional military service after gathering certain criteria.
