Global satellite navigation systems [GNSS](https://www.tualcom.com/gps-anti-jam-crpa/?utm_source=Defence24&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=gnss)) are present so present in our regular lives that it would be virtually impossible to function without them. It is estimated that the number of GNSS receivers utilized is almost twice the number of people in the world, and that the number of devices utilizing GNSS technology in any form is almost twice that of the receivers themselves. The GNSS signal reaches Earth from about 20,000 km, making it very weak and susceptible to both intentional and unintended radio interference. The dependence of modern economies on this technology is so large that the cost of even short-term breaks in its operation is estimated in the largest countries at about $1 billion a day
