OSW: Elimination of al-Qaeda Leader Is Signal to Russia and China

The killing of al-Qaeda leader Ajman al-Zawahiri may have been a signal to Russia and China that the US will not back down or hesitate, but Beijing's ideological curvature will not let him to realize this message, says Dr. Michał Bogusz, an expert on Chinese affairs from the Warsaw Centre for east Studies (OSW).
