Hamburg National Court He ordered 10 climate activists paid a full of EUR 400,000 in compensation for paralyzing Hamburg Airport in July 2023. The case could bring a breakthrough in the fight against utmost left-wing environmentalists.

The last generation was punished for blocking the airport. The court decided that the organization must pay EUR 400 000 in damages to Lufthansa. Moreover, it is besides expected to pay EUR 700 000 of judicial costs. The precedent delights both average people, as well as another airports and airlines, who had to face absurd and dangerous protest actions of the green psychiatric left.

A terrible protest at Hamburg airport took place on July 13, 2023. It was then that the eco-terrorist group cut the metallic fence, entered the runway and glued to the asphalt. In doing so, she demanded immediate action on "greenhouse gas simplification in the aviation industry". The action led to respective hours of disruption. 57 takeoffs were cancelled and 8,500 passengers were affected. There have been hundreds of lost and delayed baggage and, above all, hundreds of thousands of euros paid to passengers in compensation.

Police arrived quickly. 12 people were arrested for attempting to disorganize the airport's work. They've been charged. Now, after 2 years of legal battle, the National Court has calculated that airlines – in peculiar Lufthansa, Eurowings and Lufthansa CityLine – lost EUR 403 1000 (about PLN 1.7 million). These losses are to compensate activists. However, this is not the end of their spending, as left-wingers besides gotta pay the legal costs of EUR 700 000. In total, the organization must prepare as much as 1.1 million euro, or about 4.7 million PLN.

A suit filed by Lufthansa and a precedent consequence now opens the way for another airlines and airports that want to claim reimbursement of costs incurred after akin actions of activists. Previously, the sentences for the "Last Generation" were comparatively low – fines of respective 1000 euros or respective months imprisonment, usually suspended. As we can see, however, Germany cares about its economy and will not let it to be disrupted.

OUR COMMENTS: We look forward to akin sentences in Poland. It's time to end with left-wing eco-terrorism.

We besides recommend: Is Britain going to impose a taxation on knife users? It's meant to discourage terrorists.
