German group Axel Springer buys British “The Telegraph” for $766 million

German media group Axel Springer announced that she would take over the British centre-right paper "The Telegraph". The value of the transaction is $766.3 million. The deal thwarted the regular message owner, a DMGT group that besides applied for the acquisition of a rival.
